A £10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the discovery of missing rugby player and Celebrity X Factor star Levi Davis, who was last seen in Spain.
Mr Davis’ family announced that a private investigator and company have volunteered to help find the former Bath Rugby player, who was last seen in October, and are offering the reward as part of the research.
Gavin Burrows and his company, Line of Inquiry investigators, begin their search today in Barcelona.
Davis, 24, was last seen outside the Hard Rock Cafe in Barcelona on October 29. His bank account and all his social media have not been used since that day.
Mr Davis’s mother, Julie Davis, said: “We are very grateful to Gavin and his team for their time, expertise and the reward fund to help find Levi. We are still sickly worried about him and just want him safe comes home.
“Hopefully this extra support will encourage people with information to come forward.”
Mr Davis’s foster mother, Suzanne Balfour, previously told Sky News that he had been to Ibiza with a friend before his disappearance, but said he “needed to get out”.
It is believed that he took a ferry to Barcelona, but no one has heard from him since.
Mr Davis was also captured on CCTV earlier on October 29 as he left the Old Irish Pub in Barcelona.
The video shows the winger and Celebrity X Factor star dressed in a white t-shirt, black jeans and white trainers and carrying a small black backpack.
Mr. Davis’s friends and family have launched a social media campaign to locate him. His family says his passport was found by local police, but they have no other details.
In November, Mr Davis’s foster sister, Candeece Balfour, said she received a voice message from him on October 26 saying he was a “fighter” and would “keep fighting”.
It is clear that he suffered an injury that affected his rugby career and may have had financial problems as well.
