The stars of The Witcher and Hollyoaks join Season 2 of The Lazarus Project

The Lazarus project season two has added two new stars to the cast – from Netflix’s The witcher and long-running soap Holly oak.

The Lazarus project follows a secret organization that has promised to stop mass extinction events by going back in time. The first season played I can destroy you‘s Paapa Essiedu, Bodyguard‘s Anjli Mohindra, Strike’s Tom Burke, Rudi Dharmalingam and Charly Clive.

Now Royce Pierreson joins the cast after a recurring role as Istredd in The witcher. He also played along Duty line, our girland The disturbances.

In the meantime, Holly oak actors James Atherton also joins the cast. Atherton is best known for his role as serial killer Will Savage Holly oak from 2011 to 2015. He also starred in Coronation Street and Accident.

The Lazarus project season one aired earlier this year and ended with many twists and turns that spawned a second season. Creator Joe Barton – who also created Giri/Hajias well as wrote episodes of People and recent hit The bastard son and the devil himself — teased a second season, saying he had plenty of ideas about what could happen to his characters in a follow-up outing.

“I just have some random ideas,” Barton said. “It wasn’t until I wrote the last episode that I thought about what the ending would be.”

Those ideas will now become reality after the series is renewed in August.

“We are thrilled with the success of series one and the re-commissioning of Sky. We have bold and ambitious plans for series two that will reunite all of our characters in more exciting and mind-blowing adventures,” Barton and producer Johnny Capps said of the news .
