The living Dead has now aired its eleventh and final supersized season on AMC and will land on Netflix in the United States in January 2023 (other regions will vary).
The show, which adapts the comics of the same name, has been a staple of both AMC and Netflix (depending on where you live) for years. Netflix US has been running the show since 2014, with new seasons added every year after that (except season 10, which was postponed due to COVID-19).
Season 11 is going out with a bang with an extended season. The final season will consist of 24 episodes, two more than season 10.
As we discussed earlier, alone The living Dead is on Netflix. The other spin-off series have all made their way to other rival streaming services worldwide, be it Amazon Prime, Disney+ or elsewhere.
Season 11 has been released slowly over the course of a year, with the first batch of episodes set to drop in August 2021 and the finale airing on November 20, 2022.
According to Unogs, the eleventh season will be on Netflix in at least 26 countries.

Traditionally, Netflix has new seasons just before the next one starts on AMC, but that won’t be the case here.
We originally expected Season 11 to arrive between 113 days and 161 days after its release date, which would be sometime between March and April 2023.
Thankfully, you won’t have to wait that long as the show is now confirmed to release in January 2023.

Until it makes its way to Netflix, Season 11 will be an AMC+ exclusive in the United States, either via Amazon Prime Channels or direct.
Some international regions have already received 8 episodes of The Walking Dead season 11, including Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, India and others.
Netflix Canada has yet to confirm when they will receive The living Dead season 11.
Will The Walking Dead Leave Netflix After Season 11 Arrives?
Yes, The living Dead will eventually leave Netflix, though it’s unknown for how many years.
We can look to other AMC shows for guidance. If The living Dead follows Hell on wheels departure schedule, we see the show leaving Netflix sometime after 2026.
Long lasting outside the United States, the show’s new streaming homepage is exclusive to Disney+. There, the show is currently in several regions, including the United Kingdom.
In the US, we suspect the show will eventually move exclusively to AMC+.
